Coordinates and directs the maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, for the facility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair for 5-axis machining centers, forming presses (stretch, roll, brake). Analyzes firm's HVAC systems, lighting, and other factors. Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction. Performs audits to support facility planning. Develops long range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements and documentation for facility. Formulates and coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents. Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies. Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services. Follows ISO 45001, 14001, 4500, and will help identify improvements, correct gaps and follows policies. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintains and improves robust preventative maintenance program. Proper handling/management of chemicals and hazardous waste. Work with EH&S team to ensure OSHA and state requirements. Implement new equipment and improve process flow. Develop standard work and shop floor procedures. Chemical milling solution analysis and reporting. Solution adjustment parameters and monitoring of etch rates. Responsible for storing and handling all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) appropriately to prevent unauthorized access, dissemination, or use of this information or documentation. Support all visitor and security policies to protect ITAR/EAR/CMMC/CUI information, documents, product, etc. from unauthorized access by informing management immediately of any concerns. Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. Performs other duties as assigned including leading projects and participation in project committees. Regular and acceptable attendance and is an essential function of this job.
