Maintenance Supervisor
About The Position
When members of the community come into our care as patients or residents, they leave the security and comfort of their homes. It is vital that our facility offers a safe, secure, well maintained, and comfortable place for our patients and residents to heal. The Maintenance Supervisor works with the maintenance team in ensuring that our grounds exceed the expectations of our patients and their families while they are in our care. This position plays a key role in the overall presentation of our center and a direct supervisor for the maintenance staff. Posted Salary Range USD $27.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years diverse construction or maintenance related experience in a supervisory capacity
- Must be knowledgeable various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC certification a plus but not required
- Must have knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Must have a reliable source of transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Nice To Haves
- Maintenance experience in long term care strongly preferred
- HVAC certification a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Work with the Maintenance Director ensure the overall safety, appearance and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local requirements at all times.
- Supervise the maintenance team on day to day maintenance duties.
- Work with the Maintenance Director to ensure that safety committee meetings are held regularly, with complete and accurate documentation.
