About The Position

St. Joseph's Village, a Trinity Health Senior Community, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to help ensure our community remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents, visitors, and colleagues. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily maintenance operations, preventative maintenance programs, grounds management, and safety initiatives while supporting a mission-driven environment focused on exceptional resident care.

Requirements

Previous maintenance, facilities, or building operations experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related setting.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance, building systems, safety practices, and vendor management.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily maintenance operations and facility upkeep.
Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and routine repairs.
Oversee building systems, equipment, and grounds maintenance, including snow and debris removal.
Manage work orders and coordinate third-party contractors for major repairs and projects.
Ensure compliance with safety, infection prevention, OSHA, EPA, and regulatory standards.
Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and departmental expenses.
Conduct routine inspections to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Coach and support maintenance team members while promoting a culture of service excellence.
Collaborate with community leadership and other departments to support resident satisfaction and operational success.
