About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for improving overall cost and efficiency performance by increasing equipment uptime and maximizing asset life. The role involves maintaining property, plant, and equipment in a productive, efficient, and safe manner. Management duties include supervision of exempt and/or non-exempt staff, encompassing performance evaluations, PTO approval, work delegation, training, guidance, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates. Responsibilities

  • Lead, monitor, and develop the maintenance business process to ensure it effectively meets safety, environmental, and production goals.
  • Schedule daily, weekly, and long-term preventative maintenance or repair of processing equipment including autoclaves, boiler, mobile equipment, land, structures, etc.
  • Lead and coordinate inspections, service, and repair of all facility mobile equipment, machinery, land, and structures.
  • Lead, manage, and participate in CAPEX construction projects that include facility processing/mobile equipment, structures, and property within budget guidelines.
  • Supervise machinery troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
  • Provide hands-on instruction and support for training and/or emergency situations.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop all maintenance department employees.
  • Purchase materials and equipment for repairs and installation via electronic Purchase Order system.
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical and electrical spare part inventory and supplies.
  • Help advance new components and technology into operations to help eliminate problems.
  • Participate and contribute to the company safety program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
