About The Position

KMG Prestige, a premier property management company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys new challenges, is driven, and leads by example. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for creating happy residents by providing superior customer service and ensuring the property is well-maintained. This includes overseeing a team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring timely completion of work orders, working with vendors, managing supply orders, handling apartment turns, addressing service requests, and overseeing the overall maintenance of the apartment community.

Requirements

• HVAC knowledge
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Background in plumbing, electrical, and drywall
• Appliance repair skills
• Experienced with apartment turns
• Ability to contact and negotiate with vendors
• Knowledge of residential repairs
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and more
• Organizational skills
• Available for emergency on-call rotation
