About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for the Bexley Village at Concord Mills community in Concord, NC. This is a 624-unit community with a maintenance team of 9 employees. The role involves managing and coordinating the activities of the service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of the property's grounds and buildings. This is a hands-on position where the supervisor will also perform maintenance duties. The effective performance of the service team is crucial for maximizing rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through professional maintenance practices, quality control, and adherence to policies and procedures. The service team is customer service-driven, aiming to create a positive lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents. Weinstein Properties owns and manages all its properties, offering stability and growth opportunities, with a commitment to promoting from within and providing training.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years trade-related experience.
At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant or supervisory experience.
Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email.
Willing to share on-call with other team members.
Valid driver's license, transportation and tools required.
Must pass a DMV and background/criminal check.

Responsibilities

Managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure that all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed in an efficient manner.
Working as part of the team to complete all maintenance duties.
Diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliances.
Assisting in scheduling and supervising all in-house and/or vendor work.
Sharing on-call duties with other team members.
Following professional maintenance practices, using quality control and following policies/procedures.
Providing customer service to residents.
