About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for Bexley Crossing at Providence in Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne area). This dynamic role involves managing and coordinating a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of the property's grounds and buildings. The position requires hands-on work in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural repairs, and appliance repair. You will also assist in scheduling and supervising in-house and vendor work, and share on-call duties with other team members. The goal of the service team is to maximize rents and maintain high occupancy levels through professional maintenance practices, quality control, and adherence to policies and procedures. A strong customer service focus is essential to create a positive influence on visitors, prospects, and residents. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Computer skills: ability to use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies, and communicate via email.
  • Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Transportation required.
  • Tools required.
  • Must pass a DMV and background/criminal check.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed in an efficient manner.
  • Working as part of the team to complete all maintenance duties, including diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structural and appliances.
  • Assisting in scheduling and supervising all in-house and/or vendor work.
  • Sharing on-call duties with other team members.
  • Maximizing rents and maintaining high occupancy levels by following professional maintenance practices, using quality control and following policies/procedures.
  • Providing customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents.
