About The Position

Mayroad's mission is to create and foster long-term sustainable partnerships while ensuring the highest level of customer service and social responsibility. This role supervises a team of residential maintenance technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the physical condition and appearance of residential properties and other Mayroad assets. The scope of work includes structural, paint, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC, Steam, pressure washing, cleaning, and electrical tasks, depending on assigned core duties.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED; may be offset by experience
Experience performing residential maintenance and repair work across multiple skilled trades, including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC systems (for positions located in CA, FL, NC, and KS) or steam systems (for positions located in AK).
Residential home maintenance experience performing carpentry repairs and installations, plumbing troubleshooting and fixture replacement, basic electrical repairs and wiring tasks, and HVAC diagnostics, routine servicing, and preventative maintenance
Previous supervisory experience in residential, multi-family property maintenance
Ability to pass a state and federal background check to obtain access to the Air Force installation
Ability to pass a 12-panel pre-employment drug test.
Valid, unrestricted REAL-ID compliant driver’s license required to drive on the Air Force Installation.
Ability to read, understand, interpret, and communicate work-related information and documentation in English, both verbally and in writing, as necessary to perform the essential functions of the position
Must have personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation.
Must have personal smart phone for on-the-job communication.

Responsibilities

Supervises a team of residential maintenance technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the physical condition and appearance of residential properties and other Mayroad assets (pool, community center, playgrounds, ice rinks, dog parks, community garden, etc.)
Oversees repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to structural, paint, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC, Steam, pressure washing, cleaning, electrical, etc., depending on assigned core duties.
