The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing maintenance personnel to ensure that all systems operate at their highest capability to meet required production schedules, quality, costs, and schedule priorities. This role involves providing maintenance training, managing staff performance, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained safely and operably, and establishing procedures for timely repairs. The supervisor will also assist and direct workers in various maintenance systems, develop employee relations, and improve reliability and maintenance methods to reduce costs and production downtime. Additionally, the role involves developing preventative maintenance procedures, coordinating maintenance activities, analyzing downtime reports, participating in audits, and overseeing the implementation of quality and safety systems. Collaboration with business leaders on process improvement initiatives is also a key aspect of this position.
