About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 5 years of Maintenance experience or related experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Vocation or Technical Education is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of similar supervisory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assign preventative maintenance duties and assign equipment repair requests to Maintenance Mechanics.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules for company owned trailers.
- Respond to requests by BDS Foremen for emergency repairs to equipment (flat tires, electrical problems, forklift repair issues, etc.).
- Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
- Plan, supervise, and complete special projects as requested by Plant Manager or Maintenance Superintendent.
- Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical wire, and heating/air conditioning units.
- Contact vendors or sales representatives for emergency replacement of critical machinery parts.
