About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of Maintenance Technicians to provide daily support to the entire site. This includes managing work orders, special requests, and emergency requests based on technician skills. The position involves maintaining communication with the Maintenance Team and Purchasing to ensure necessary parts and equipment inventory are accurate and to calculate reorder levels. The Maintenance Supervisor will compile maintenance reports, evaluate downtime, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules to provide management with timely and accurate information, drive continuous improvement, and optimize daily maintenance activities.

  • CMMS / work order experience
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in automatic controls is desired.
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Military and Work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of Maintenance Technicians daily based upon production schedules.
  • Reviews work orders and preventative maintenance needs, considering priority, production schedules, and material/parts availability.
  • Assigns Maintenance Technicians based upon skills required and in response to production requests to prevent downtime.
  • Reviews factory downtime reports daily and discusses areas for improvement with Technicians.
  • Develops and distributes preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and continuously re-evaluates them for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensures Work Order assignments are completed in a timely manner.
  • Develops work schedules to utilize maintenance skills and personnel availability.
  • Strives to make the facility a safer place to work through compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Works on a system-wide maintenance network team to ensure coordination of activities, plans, problem-solving, and other plant-wide issues.
  • Participates in planning, scheduling, and supporting factory coverage as necessary.
  • Develops and implements skill-building plans for individuals and the department, including standard operating procedures.

Benefits

  • The pay range for prospective employees in this role is between $90,000 and $95,000 per year.
