The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability through sound maintenance practices, including cost-effective preventative and predictive maintenance and lubrication programs. This role ensures that programs and repairs are prioritized and completed on a timely basis to meet production objectives. The supervisor will implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas, plan, schedule, and monitor the timely completion of Maintenance work orders, and review job orders to determine work priorities. They will ensure efficient work execution on daily assignments, area shutdowns, and all maintenance projects, while setting priorities and coordinating Maintenance department activities and assignments. The position involves daily maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to converting and corrugated equipment, as well as overseeing and performing general facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building repairs. Responsibilities include replacing worn or damaged machine parts, adhering to all safety protocols, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, and monitoring spare parts inventory. The supervisor will also provide coaching, training, development, and leadership to hourly Maintenance employees, ensuring they understand and can troubleshoot all jobs and are fully trained. Collaboration with the production team to address machine-related issues and reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager are key aspects of this role.
