Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing
  • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
  • Proficiency in general maintenance: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies
  • Reliable transportation and basic tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and work in outdoor weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards
  • Respond promptly to service requests and complete make-readies efficiently
  • Supervise maintenance, custodial, and groundskeeping staff
  • Manage maintenance inventory and adhere to budget guidelines
  • Provide exceptional service to residents, creating a positive living environment
  • Coordinate and oversee vendor work as needed
  • Lead by example and foster a safe, clean, and well-maintained community
