About The Position

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring the buildings, grounds, and equipment are in good working order. This role involves regular inspections, performing various repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and documenting all work performed. Safety compliance and collaboration with other staff and external contractors are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Experience in inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Proficiency in repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and flooring.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to install and assemble equipment and building components.
• Skills in documenting work performed (maintenance logs, shift reports, work orders).
• Understanding of local and state building codes and company safety regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, vendors, and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify issues or potential hazards.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring, and machinery.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Install or replace equipment, appliances, and building components as needed.
• Maintain records of work performed, including maintenance logs, shift reports, and work orders.
• Follow local and state building codes, company safety regulations, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Work with contractors, vendors, and other maintenance staff to complete projects efficiently.
