The Maintenance Splice Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and restoring fiber optic network infrastructure to ensure reliable service delivery. The technician works across aerial and underground systems, utilizing technical expertise and testing equipment to quickly isolate issues and minimize downtime. This position requires a strong understanding of fiber optic systems, splicing techniques, and network diagnostics, along with the ability to work efficiently in time-sensitive and high-pressure environments. The Maintenance Splice Technician is expected to participate in overtime, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel as needed, to support outage response and maintain network continuity.
