Imagineers LLC, a highly regarded property management company with offices in Hartford and Seymour, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist. We manage over 220 Condominium Associations and Rental Properties throughout the State of Connecticut and administer the Housing Choice Voucher program for numerous housing authorities. Requirements

Experience in performing general maintenance and repair tasks, including simple plumbing & electrical, and carpentry.
Ability to inspect properties regularly and proactively address maintenance needs.
Proven track record of responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring timely, high-quality resolutions.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with property managers, homeowners, and team members.
Ability to manage your schedule efficiently, balancing planned maintenance and urgent repair requests.
Experience in maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting on project progress.
Ability to recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep, enhancing overall efficiency and safety of the properties we manage.

Responsibilities

Perform general exterior maintenance and repair tasks for residential properties, including but not limited to simple plumbing & electrical, and carpentry.
Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions.
Communicate effectively with property managers, homeowners, and other team members to provide updates and clarify project requirements.
Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion.
Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress utilizing our electronic maintenance software.
Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep.
Order materials and replace damaged parts of the property.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all established safety practices and protocols.
Rotating emergency on call with a stipend and double pay for dispatch.
Perform other duties as assigned.
