Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world. We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This hands-on position is critical to minimizing downtime and keeping manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Requirements

  • Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of: Plumbing systems, HVAC systems, Electrical power and controls, Gas furnaces and heat-treat equipment, Vacuum systems, Dust collection systems, Carpentry and painting
  • Welding and brazing experience
  • Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principles
  • Comfortable operating a scissor lift
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Experience maintaining heat-treat or vacuum furnace equipment
  • Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Manufacturing maintenance certifications or vocational training
  • Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment
  • Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues
  • Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems
  • Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed
  • Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards
