About The Position

Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork operate as one hospital across two locations, proudly serving the southwest Fort Worth area and its surrounding communities since 1987. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 3 Years’ experience required in a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Has knowledge with chilled water systems, pneumatic tube stations, computerized maintenance systems, HVAC, and general plumbing.
  • Knowledge with fire alarms, life safety systems and inspections of fire alarm devices.
  • Knowledge of emergency generators and related equipment.
  • DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Year experience in a healthcare environment highly preferred.
  • Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.
  • Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
