About The Position

Cole's Flea Market is searching for highly-motivated, self-starter, team oriented and energetic Maintenance and Site Services Tech/Painter to join our team! This team works behind the scenes making each guest's experience the best it can be. As part of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing support to site services by being able to operate heavy equipment and power tools as well as painting. These tools include riding mowers, power drills, paint machines, forklifts, etc. as well as being responsible for maintaining the premises. Requirements

Must have a general working knowledge of landscaping equipment to include, but not limited to, zero turn mowers and trimmers, basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, climb, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull and safely lift and carry tools and heavy weighing materials. Ability to work safely in confined spaces and at heights including the use of ladders and scaffolds.

Responsibilities

Drives golf carts and company vehicles
Makes sure all Food trucks Generators, UTV and gas cans are fully fueled.
Empty gray water from all Food Trucks
Fill Food trucks with clean water
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them.
Service, clean and supply restrooms according to immediate needs and daily task frequency.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage
Picks up trash around the market lot, food stands and parking area.
Makes sure all dumpsters and trash cans are emptied, swapped out, and cleaned.
Repairs dumpster wheels, covers and other parts when needed.
Provides support for events.
Keeps the compact area clean.
Follow all safety rules and work safely around moving dumpsters.
Places trash cans in the correct areas.
Completes daily task form indicating work activity.
Uses correct tools and equipment as needed.
Assists in all areas of the operations department.
Ability to lift at least 30lbs.
Responds to table requests via radio.
Delivers tables to vendors in designated areas.
Painting: Surface Preparation: Proficiency in cleaning, sanding, scraping, priming, and patching surfaces (drywall, wood, metal).
Application Techniques: Skilled in using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment.
Color Matching: Ability to mix pigments and match colors and textures accurately.
General Maintenance: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC systems for general building upkeep.
Tool Proficiency: Competent with hand and power tools such as sanders, pressure washers, and ladders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
