About The Position

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Maintenance Services Worker for the Maidstone Health Complex. This casual position involves performing general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings. The SHA is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff and is committed to providing coordinated, quality, seamless, safe, and patient-centred services. Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
  • Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
  • Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Pool Operator certificate, where required
  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
