About The Position

Hands-on, reliable, and ready to keep our parks and facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. If you like physical work, being outdoors, and seeing the results of your effort every day-this role is for you. You'll support Parks & Recreation facilities by handling a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and support tasks that keep City spaces operating smoothly for staff and the public.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with three years of high school completed
• Any combination of related work or hands-on experience is helpful
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Comfort working with cleaning products and maintenance equipment
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work with moderate supervision

Nice To Haves

• Valid Indiana Driver's License (as required for assigned duties)

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and facility cleaning using daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
• Maintain cleanliness of buildings, restrooms, grounds, and surrounding areas
• Assist maintenance, cleaning, and trade crews with assigned tasks
• Safely operate equipment and vehicles; report vandalism or repair needs
• Complete basic reports and follow City safety rules and work procedures
