Maintenance Scheduler- I&C - Braceville, IL
About The Position
Constellation is hiring a Maintenance Scheduler or Senior Maintenance Scheduler for Braidwood Nuclear Power Station in Braceville, Illinois. This is a multi-level role that may be filled at either level. The Senior Maintenance Scheduler (Daily/Outage) develops and controls discipline schedules, balancing workload with available resources while emphasizing consistency and workability to support online and outage indicators. The role maintains accurate schedules through development and execution and updates and publishes the discipline schedule as required. The position coordinates and updates schedules for effective planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition, and execution; develops detailed, usable schedules and reports to support management and execution feedback; participates in scheduling meetings and schedule critiques; assists with work windows and contingency plans; and supports traveler requests and tracking. Other duties may be assigned by management or company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support in positions outside the department.
Requirements
- Maintenance Scheduler: Technical degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and at least 5 years of nuclear plant or related industry experience.
- Maintenance Scheduler: Computer and software skills.
- Maintenance Scheduler: Organizational skills.
- Maintenance Scheduler: Ability to communicate and interface with the discipline shop.
- Maintenance Scheduler: Maximo/Passport experience.
- Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Technical degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and at least 7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of scheduling experience in the specific discipline or a current FLS.
- Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Basic power plant system knowledge.
- Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Knowledge of Critical Path Scheduling Method.
- Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Knowledge of PC- and mainframe-based scheduling tools.
- Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Ability to develop load boards, histos, and V-Curves.
- Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Ability to initiate contracts.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate, develop, and update discipline schedules for planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition, and schedule execution.
- Develop detailed, accurate, and usable schedules and reports to support management, execution, and feedback.
- Attend scheduling meetings to support effective pre-planning, implementation, schedule critiques, and continuous product improvement.
- Assist with developing work windows and contingency plans in coordination with Work Week Managers, Project Managers, and Cycle Schedulers.
- Assist the assigned department with traveler requests and tracking.
- Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support in positions outside the department.
