About The Position

The Maintenance Scheduler Planner will plan, develop, and coordinate site maintenance activities at the Wilmington, MA facility in order to maximize equipment availability, minimize operating and maintenance costs, and ensure all work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is a site-scope position.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School diploma + 10 Years of industrial maintenance experience, or Associate's degree plus 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 Years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Basic knowledge of root cause analysis
  • Understanding of electrical & instrument (E&I), piping, and isometric drawings
  • Familiarity with rotating, electrical, instrument, and facility equipment.
  • Proficiency in SAP MTS (CMMS) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel required).
  • Ability to read prints, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented with sound mathematical ability
  • Effective communicator with active listening skills
  • Timely decision-maker with a bias for action
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety; safe work permit initiation and management.

  • 5 years of industrial maintenance planning/scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a site-wide maintenance schedule to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime and cost, integrating mechanical, electrical, instrument, and process disciplines into a unified, prioritized work plan.
  • Coordinate maintenance work plans with Production, Engineering, R&D, and Production Planning by representing Maintenance in daily and weekly meetings, ensuring resources are aligned, schedules are communicated, and execution gaps are resolved proactively.
  • Procure maintenance materials and spare parts and manage the Technical Material Warehouse to ensure all required items are inventoried, available, and ready to support planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Develop, schedule, and track PM/PDM activities and equipment inspections in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams to sustain asset reliability and reduce unplanned failures.
  • Coordinate third-party contractor activities and quarterly maintenance shutdowns by quoting, scheduling, and managing external service providers to ensure safe, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of contracted work.
  • Ensure SAP CMMS data completeness and accuracy to enable tracking of key maintenance KPIs through SAP, working in close collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance & Reliability Manager to maintain system integrity and support performance reporting.
  • Ensure all compliance-related PMs and unplanned maintenance work are completed on time and that all maintenance activities comply with site Safety and Environmental requirements, by initiating safe work permits, maintaining strong safety awareness, applying PPE standards, participating in safety programs and JSBO activities, and maintaining housekeeping standards within the area.
