Maintenance Sales Representative

About The Position

Represent the company to potential Commercial customers. Work with building and business owners to provide competitive and profitable maintenance service agreements. Accountable for all sales activities and customer relations. Responsible for the management of accounts and resolving any issues that may occur. Assist the service manager and dispatcher to better understand and further develop growth in the paid service department.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
  • Well, organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software programs
  • Available to travel within assigned sales territory (I-5 corridor, State of Oregon into SW Washington). Overnight stay may occasionally be required
  • Positive energy and enthusiasm to drive sales and company growth
  • Ability to work in tight or open spaces, and at heights
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 3 + years previous sales experience
  • 2 + years of previous customer service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 + years of previous HVAC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the company vehicle
  • Schedule and keep appointments with prospects and customers
  • Effectively develop and communicate professional sales proposals to clients
  • Develop and Maintain reporting of leads, in-progress active prospects and sales forecast.
  • Be able to provide a weekly update of sales call planning, upcoming schedules and customer follow up
  • Contribute to the development of products, services and marketing strategies through creative packaging of company capabilities
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Increase and maintain profitable sales by working with customers to identify needs.
  • Proactively target and establish relationships with prospects and vendors to meet sales objectives, maintain customers, and position the company as the provider of choice for HVAC/R services
  • Develop accurate estimates for service agreements
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services, competition, requirements and business issues, and industry trends other duties as assigned
  • Frequency of meeting target revenue goals
  • Level of customer satisfaction; number of referrals
  • Completing all scheduled calls and appointments in a timely manner
  • Continue to develop knowledge of HVAC industry and products
  • Effective communication with management, sales team and customers
