About The Position

Maintenance Repairers are a vital part of Rochester Metal Products, helping to sustain production. These positions are responsible for trouble shooting and repairing foundry equipment as needed.

Requirements

Ability to operate and use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; or, occasionally more.
Ability to work in high heat environments.
Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
Basic Knowledge and ability to PLC Troubleshoot.
Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and management.
Knowledge and experience using LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).
Must have good judgement and decision making skills.
Must have good time management skills.
Must have knowledge and understanding of how to appropriately wear job required PPE.
Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions; and, to follow directions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Trouble shooting and repairing foundry equipment as needed.
Work in a fast paced environment using preventive and predictive maintenance.
PLC Troubleshoot.
Work with pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems.
Communicate with customers and management.
Use LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).
Wear job required PPE.
Read, understand and follow work instructions; and, to follow directions with attention to detail.
