About The Position
Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is seeking to recruit a highly productive and diverse workforce and will provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and prospective employees. This position plays a vital role in the maintenance and upkeep of approximately 340 buildings under the Area Maintenance Department.
Requirements
- Two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering; OR Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Responsibilities
- Repair and install commodes, lavatories, water fountains, garbage disposals.
- Unstop sewer lines and drains, repair leaks, repair/replace faucets.
- Replace Light bulbs.
- Repair/replace ballasts, receptacles, switches, and fans.
- Replace motors, pumps, etc.
- Repair washing machines, dryers, ice machines and refrigerators.
- Repair doors, door closers, hinges, cabinet doors, knobs, baseboards, cabinets, furniture, door stops, windows, etc.
- Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance to A/C units and air handlers.
- Clean coils; work on pumps to air handlers and motors, chill water valves, controls, belts and filters.
- Keep check on hot water temperatures and maintain log.
- Run and service generators and maintain log.
- Inspects fire extinguishers monthly and maintains a log.
