About The Position

Responsible for leading maintenance operations to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of manufacturing equipment and facilities. Provides Leadership to maintenance personnel by executing maintenance strategies, improving equipment reliability, and supporting operational excellence through continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong maintenance technical skills, electrical controls understanding, preferred.
  • Understanding of complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Basic computer knowledge (windows, email, internet, etc.)
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • MS Word-Intermediate; MS Excel-advanced; MS PowerPoint-Intermediate; MS Outlook-Intermediate
  • An acceptable combination of education and experience
  • This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree.
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
  • Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
  • Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities.
  • This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions
  • Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily maintenance operations to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and utilities.
  • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities, work assignments, shutdowns, and repair schedules to support production objectives.
  • Supervise, develop, and coach maintenance personnel by promoting technical development, accountability, teamwork, and a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor equipment performance, maintenance metrics, and work order completion to identify opportunities for improved asset reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance inventory, spare parts, contractors, and external service providers to support maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Continuous Improvement teams to improve equipment reliability, manufacturing readiness, and process performance.
  • Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility improvements, and asset replacement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment performance, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and effectively utilize maintenance management systems to support planning, scheduling, and performance reporting.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating collaboratively with customers, suppliers, contractors, co-workers, and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
