About The Position

Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Supervisor in Sioux City, Iowa who will supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel engaged in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting production machinery, systems, and equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation. This role involves planning, assigning, and prioritizing work orders and schedules to meet production and operational requirements. The supervisor will also assist with onboarding, training, and technical development of maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all maintenance work adheres to OSHA and company safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The supervisor will monitor equipment performance, implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs, and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues, recommending or assisting in corrective actions. Reviewing completed work for compliance with specifications and standards, recommending process, equipment, and procedural improvements, and collaborating with production and quality teams are also essential functions. The role requires maintaining records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and parts inventory, preparing reports, participating in safety audits and incident investigations, and developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Four (4) years’ experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance engineering.
  • Three years’ experience maintaining and improving corrective and preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities
