Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and maximize uptime. Monitor and improve key maintenance metrics, including uptime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance costs. Audit maintenance processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement. Standardize equipment repair procedures and maintenance best practices. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for chronic and major equipment failures. Coordinate responses to extended equipment breakdowns using 8D and other structured problem-solving methodologies. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce technical downtime and increase equipment performance. Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence. Optimize spare parts inventory to support equipment reliability while managing inventory costs. Utilize CMMS systems to support maintenance planning, scheduling, analysis, and reporting activities. Assist in planning and execution of major maintenance shutdowns and equipment outages. Support capital projects related to safety, productivity, modernization, and reliability improvements. Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities, ensuring maintenance strategies and spare parts requirements are established. Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians and operations personnel. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance. Promote and ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices.
