About The Position

MAINTENANCE REBUILD TECHNICIAN Take It Apart. Fix It. Make It Better. Are you the person who can look at a piece of equipment, figure out what’s wrong, and know how to get it running like new again? Stevens Industries is looking for a Maintenance Rebuild Technician to repair, rebuild, and restore the equipment that keeps our production running. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with mechanical systems, solving problems, and seeing the results of their work. From glue pots, hand tools, and pumps to other production machinery, you’ll disassemble, inspect, repair, rebuild, and test equipment to make sure it is ready to get back to work.

Requirements

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment

Responsibilities

Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild glue pots, pumps, and other production machinery
Replace or refurbish worn or damaged parts and components
Test and calibrate rebuilt equipment to ensure it is operating properly
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify the root cause of problems
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
Perform preventive maintenance as needed
Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
