The Maintenance Project Manager directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, and completion of productive equipment Troubleshooting & Maintenance activities. This role involves performing these duties personally or through subordinate AIT or contract employees within a customer plant, operating under a Maintenance Contract. The position requires ensuring equipment availability through preventive maintenance, leading skilled technicians, utilizing diagnostic tools for automated equipment, performing root cause analysis of failures, monitoring costs, attending customer meetings, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing 24/7 emergency support. Safety is paramount, and the role includes developing training for Maintenance Technicians and acting as the face of AIT on-site, identifying new business opportunities.
