Requirements

Associate’s degree, business or trade school degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid N.Y.S. Driver’s License.
State Central Registry Clearance.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience in property maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair, including plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems/units.
Remodel and maintain properties, including sheet rocking, painting, and masonry.
Coordinate client relocation, including the physical movement of belongings and logistical coordination.
Provide on-site supervision to maintenance staff to ensure work orders are completed correctly and on time.
Provide daily updates to the Operations Manager on work order completion and update the work order system.
Perform regular inspections using HUD HQS form.
Coordinate and work with contracted services for property maintenance and upkeep.
Provide and maintain a safe environment, reporting unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
Exercise independent judgment and decision-making regarding apartment operations.
Maintain guidelines established by funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks/duties as assigned.
