Requirements

2 years of purchasing experience or 2 years of multi-craft maintenance experience.
Applied knowledge and practice using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word documents.
Knowledge of general purchasing and accounting practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience with inventory control.
Ability to interpret prints efficiently.
Knowledge of production equipment, part identification and terminology.
Extended education or experience in a technical/maintenance field.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, oversee, and execute the proper procurement strategies to maintain the needed inventory for all plant repairs.
Purchase and inventory stock and non-stock items.
Place purchase orders and coordinate delivery for these items.
Implement effective processes and develop vendor relationships to drive financial success for the division.
Coordinate on-time deliveries.
Perform cycle counts.
Process end-of-month input and reconciliation.
Back-up other purchasing teammates.
Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
