About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated processing and packaging systems, including sensors and control networks. The technician will monitor and support daily production automation to ensure continuous and efficient operation, conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, and collaborate with various teams to resolve issues. The position also involves supporting the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment, maintaining technical documentation, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. A strong commitment to safety procedures and compliance with OSHA, food safety, and operational standards is essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation and controls in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, PanelView HMIs, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, innovative mindset, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, industrial communication networks, and control systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities
