About The Position

This role is part of the Maintenance Pool, focusing on supporting Maintenance, Production, and Sanitation personnel. The position involves working in various conditions, including inside and outside, in different temperatures, and at elevated heights. Key responsibilities include forklift maintenance, facility upkeep, HVAC filter replacement, lighting maintenance, fan maintenance, and general facility repairs. The role also requires data recording, reporting equipment concerns, and participating in overtime and on-call duties as needed.

Requirements

Knowledge of Maintenance jargon, Maintenance Best Practices Knowledge; OSHA, safety, etc.
Proven ability to work in a team as well as independently
Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA and Production needs.

Nice To Haves

Forklift repair and HVAC repair experience preferred.
1-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with and assist Maintenance, Production & Sanitation personnel
Conduct forklift battery changes
Clean / detail forklifts
Perform facility painting as needed
Replace HVAC filters & wash coils
Ensure proper lighting is maintained throughout the facility by ensuring bulbs are replaced timely
Conduct preventative maintenance and cleaning of facility exhaust & supply fans
Perform basic facility maintenance as assigned
Record maintenance data as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor & Manager to monitor equipment performance
Identify and report equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
Participate in overtime assignments as required.
Provide “on call” coverage as needed.
Perform other various duties as assigned.
