About The Position

The Maintenance Planner for Avmax Chad reports directly to the Director of Quality. This role involves ensuring the Maintenance Tracking Program is in compliance with various aviation regulations and standards, preparing fleet performance reports, managing task cards, and analyzing component reliability data. The planner will also be responsible for maintaining aircraft maintenance programs, updating technical records, and supporting the Avmax Chad team with administrative and technical requests.

Requirements

  • 2-year technical school diploma.
  • Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Possess strong fundamental technical aircraft knowledge.
  • Minimum 4 years of aviation experience, especially auditing and maintenance program experience.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking software CAMP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Word and Excel.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

  • AME diploma considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform checks to confirm Maintenance Tracking Program is in compliance with the MSA, CAR, AD, SB and aircraft maintenance inspection programs.
  • Prepare and provide monthly Fleet Performance reports and 12 month's maintenance forecasts for each aircraft to Chad Team, Chad Customers, Accounting, Leasing etc.
  • Review and update task cards for accuracy using the aircraft maintenance tracking software (Camp). Work closely with Camp Analyst and oversee their work.
  • Create Maintenance reports, reliability reports monthly or whenever requested as required by the CAMO agreement.
  • Determine technical data required for planning and execution of the work to be performed by the air operator.
  • Ensure that the Air Operator will receive monthly maintenance updates regarding due tasks and forecast or whenever requested, to always enable status verification of the aircraft, including Total Aircraft Flight Hours and Cycles.
  • Maintain and amend the Air Operator Maintenance Programs in accordance with Aircraft Manufacturer's.
  • Responsible for the collection of component reliability data and will analyze and assess the data.
  • Provide the Air Operator with all the necessary information about the service life-limited components removal/installation so that the Air Operator may update its records.
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating the flight hours and flight cycles of the fleet by Aircraft Journey Log (AJL) control.
  • Make new entries into the logbooks when the components are removed/installed and new AD's/ SB's and Mods are introduced.
  • Support Avmax Chad with any administrative, technical requests or concerns as needed.
  • Review to ensure the air operators maintenance manuals are always current.
  • Maintain and store all air operators supplied aircraft technical records.
  • Complete assigned tasks as provided by Quality Manager.
