The Maintenance Planner processes preventive and corrective maintenance work orders generated by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role involves verifying information on work orders, applying job plans and instructions, distributing them to the appropriate supervisor or labor person, scheduling work for completion, and updating the CMMS upon completion. The position also serves as the Allianz fire inspection contact person, processes daily work orders, generates PM work orders daily, and coordinates weekly schedule meetings with departments. Additionally, the planner is responsible for the weekend work order schedule, coordinating and planning Shut Down schedules and work orders, creating PMs and Job Plans to support plant operations, reviewing PMs to catch none completed and not cycling, and scheduling 3rd party PMs. Work order data collection entry, attending daily meetings with the maintenance manager, and managing daily logbook issues are also key responsibilities. The role includes managing motor and steel storage areas, creating purchase requests for maintenance materials, fostering positive work relationships, observing all company policies and procedures, and keeping the Maintenance Manager informed of important matters.
