The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler organizes, plans, and schedules all maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, corrective) within SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), ensuring technicians have parts/tools/materials for efficient execution, minimizing downtime, and balancing production needs with asset reliability for presses, hot box operations, FRP manufacturing, assembly lines, and polymer concrete equipment. Acts as a key liaison between Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement.#LI-AO1 A Day In The LifeWork Order Management: Review, prioritize, and detail work requests in SAP, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and proper scope. Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed job plans with step-by-step instructions, required tools, safety measures, and estimated time, scheduling work one or more weeks in advance. Resource Coordination: Partner with Procurement to ensure all necessary spare parts and materials are available before work begins. Liaison and Communication: Serve as the primary contact between Maintenance, Operations, and other departments to align schedules and address conflicts. System Expertise: Utilize SAP PM (and potentially other CMMS) for planning, tracking, reporting, and managing the maintenance backlog. Process Improvement: Analyze past work and feedback to refine job plans and improve maintenance procedures for greater efficiency. Asset Management: Load new/old equipment/functional locations into SAP and track equipment performance. What will help you thrive in this role?Strong understanding of SAP PM module.
