About The Position

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and balancing the production equipment PM workflow. This role supports the Facility Manager in maintaining an organized backlog of planned work, ensuring maintenance resources are utilized effectively. The position involves creating detailed work packages, managing parts and materials, and adhering to established metrics for continuous improvement. The role also requires collaboration with the Facility Manager and Customer Leadership to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion. Adherence to EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO standards, is crucial.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Technical Maintenance Background.
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • CMMS systems skills (Maximo required).
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • Proper email etiquette.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules/guidelines/policies established Leadec and our customer.
  • Assist in preparation of detailed work packages and job plans that include equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and special tools and for the delivery of these parts and services when they are needed.
  • Supports the Facility Manager in maintaining an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling when maintenance resources are available.
  • Maintains established metrics of performance to ensure the maintenance function continues to improve.
  • Assist with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department.
  • Assist with the planning activities for all maintenance work orders in CMMS (MAXIMO).
  • Assist the maintenance manager with maintaining estimate for craft hours, labor, and material costs for each work order.
  • Routinely meets with the Facility Manager and Customer Leadership to ensure work order priorities are established and the appropriate work packages completed and available.
  • Perform periodic audits on preventative maintenance plans and make corrections as needed.
  • Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
  • All other duties as assigned by Leadec Manager.
