This role owns and continuously improves the Work Order Management System and Process, providing strategic ownership and leading continuous improvement efforts. The position involves reviewing and evaluating planned notifications, determining their conversion to Work Orders based on operational priorities and technical requirements. The Maintenance Planner & Scheduler will administer the CMMS to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and accurate maintenance documentation, including equipment records, historical data, preventive/predictive tasks, and material requirements. A key responsibility is designing and implementing proactive, safe, and efficient weekly maintenance plans aligned with production priorities, equipment availability, environmental considerations, and organizational objectives. The role also supports the Engineering Team in project planning, execution, and closing to ensure the CMMS is updated with new equipment information, maintenance plans, and job plans. Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives (BOS) is expected to improve efficiencies, reduce waste, or learn new skills. The role ensures adherence to Company Global and Local policies and standards, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and compliance with Engineering and Maintenance Department procedures and work instructions, including document management.
