About The Position

As the site Maintenance Planner Scheduler, you will plan Mechanical Integrity (MI) work, communicate with Reliability Engineering, and fill out schedule for planned/project work orders within the Circleville, OH Plant. You will create weekly, monthly and yearly plans to ensure 100% scheduling of all PMs. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

High School degree or GED required; highly preferred an associate’s degree with equivalent technical experience developed through maintenance career path with 6 to 10 years’ experience in scheduling, OR BS degree preferred with 3 to 6 years of proven experience in planning/ scheduling for maintenance.
Ability to read and understand diagrams, P&ID drawings and basic schematics.
Background in Maintenance required

Responsibilities

Obtain quotes or bids for planned jobs and projects work by PPG’s Purchasing Guidelines
Develop job scope for work that is planned or projects
Create schedule for upcoming jobs
Request proper number of Contractors / PPG maintenance for scheduled days of work for planned/projects
Communication with Maintenance/Contractor Supervisor on planned/project work
Plan and communicate for parts and supplies that are needed for planned/project work
Attend meetings for Mechanical Integrity (MI)
Schedule outage meetings for work that is needed during plant outage
Completed all Work Orders in a timely manner within the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Maintain accurate job plans and details within the existing CMMS
Track outages for planned/project work using CMMS and complete when work has been done
Enter Purchase Orders for required parts and critical spares
Completion of all duties assigned by Manager
