The client is hiring a PGD Central Maintenance Planner to support overhaul planning for its Combined Cycle Power Generation Fleet. This temporary project is expected to last 12 months or longer, with possible extensions. The role is based at the client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and requires travel to different power plant locations in Florida for outages. Work is onsite 100% of the time; remote work and telecommuting are not available. Candidates must be able to relocate as required and be willing to work long shifts of 10–12 hours, including nights and weekends, according to the outage schedule. The planner develops job-specific Electrical or Instrumentation and Control (I&C) maintenance work order packages for overhaul projects, conducts jobsite walk-downs and validates scopes, supports procurement of materials and services, develops work execution procedures, and prepares accurate work order cost and schedule estimates. The role interfaces with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization. The position is temporary and is being filled through approved staffing partners; applicants cannot apply directly to the client. The posting also advertises other maintenance coordinator positions, which are not the role described here.
