About The Position

The Maintenance Planning Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating routine and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role focuses on accurate work planning, parts readiness, CMMS accuracy, and strong collaboration with technicians, vendors, and operations. Deliver results in first-time situations by inspiring others and working to earn trust every day. Serve others with understanding, respect, and care. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years or High School diploma/GED with 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance process, activities, and maintenance management system
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Predictive and Preventative Maintenance technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance safety practices
  • Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to change.

  • Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP

Responsibilities

  • Review MRO reports to identify part needs, order parts, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop work plans including labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
  • Update work order lifecycle and maintain open, late and old work orders to a defined amount.
  • Add forecasted labor hours and verify job scope through walkdowns with technicians.
  • Kit parts, consume kitted parts, and maintain inventory accuracy in the CMMS.
  • Receive parts, verify shipments, and turn in packing slips for documentation.
  • Use OEM manuals and technical drawings to identify correct parts and procedures.
  • Incorporate safety plans and hazards into all job planning.
  • Build and maintain vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Conduct weekly planning meetings with maintenance and operations.
  • Track planning metrics and support reliability improvements through root cause analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and sanitation standards.
