About The Position

Kemira is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their Coagulant Manufacturing facility in Mojave, CA. This position is responsible for the entire maintenance planning workflow, acting as the site's SAP super-user, and managing the procurement of spare parts for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. The role involves close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and Operations team to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards. Additionally, the position will source and purchase Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies, spare parts, and specialized contractor services, while also supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

At least 3 – 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in an industrial environment
Advanced proficiency in SAP and maintenance management systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

Ability to communicate technical and safety concepts in English and Spanish is preferred

Responsibilities

Planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance
Coordinating with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Managing maintenance records and documentation in SAP
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
Sourcing and purchasing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies, spare parts, and specialized contractor services.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Performing any other duties as assigned
