About The Position

The Maintenance Planner and Scheduler will be responsible for managing parts inventory, equipment tracking, and spare parts records. This role involves developing a vendor-managed inventory system to streamline scanning and requisitioning, collaborating with vendors to maintain competitive costs, and leading preventive maintenance scheduling by building a database of OEM-recommended PMs across all plant equipment. The position also supports the facility safety program and implements predictive maintenance strategies with the overall goal of maximizing equipment uptime and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). This role will be onsite with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule.

Requirements

Apprenticeship program, technical school, or Associates Degree.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Working knowledge of MS office products (word, excel and outlook).
Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead safety training initiatives, written safety programs and rules tailored to the work of individual departments.
Create, implement and evaluate cost saving projects that will drive costs out of the business without resulting in a reduction in quality.
Handle multiple tasks at one time.
Communicate with Plant Leaders.
