Responsible for maintaining the building and grounds of the hotel. This includes ensuring the proper operation of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, laundry, kitchen, refrigeration, and lighting systems, as well as property upkeep and compliance with city, state, and federal codes. The role requires assuming full responsibility for the condition of the property's infrastructure and public areas. A thorough understanding of fire alarm and emergency evacuation procedures, along with all safety-related issues, is essential. The position also involves developing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs, updating the safety manual, conducting training on OSHA regulations, DOT testing, Right to Know Law, and serving as Chair of the safety Committee and NFPA training. Loss prevention, security, and maintaining required permits and licenses are also key responsibilities. The role may involve assisting other departments as needed.
