About The Position
The Maintenance Person / Clubhouse Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of community clubhouse facilities within the consumer support services industry. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and custodial duties. The role requires proactive identification and resolution of facility issues to prevent disruptions and enhance user experience. Additionally, the Maintenance Person / Clubhouse Attendant serves as a point of contact for clubhouse users, providing excellent customer service and support. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall satisfaction and well-being of the community by preserving the clubhouse’s functionality and appearance at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in maintenance or facility management, preferably in a residential or clubhouse setting.
- Experience with custodial duties and use of cleaning equipment.
- Customer service experience in a community or hospitality environment.
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, pressure washing, and general repairs to ensure clubhouse facilities are fully operational.
- Conduct regular inspections of the clubhouse and surrounding areas to identify and address safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clubhouse by performing custodial duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist residents and guests by providing information, addressing concerns, and ensuring clubhouse rules and policies are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies inventory, and incident reports.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and inconvenience.
