About The Position

This role is responsible for the procurement of various materials for company projects, maintaining inventory balance and controls, and supporting the preventive maintenance program. The coordinator will proactively seek the best value for the company's needs in purchasing materials.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including Substance Abuse policy.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational practices.
  • Participate in the ALL4Zero Safety Program.
  • Demonstrate and maintain safe work practices at all times, promoting safety throughout the organization.
  • Oversee component receiving, shipping, and transfers.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials between the component warehouse and production facilities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, developing and implementing procedures to maintain material accuracy within 99% of records.
  • Provide staff development training.
  • Determine space requirements for component storage.
  • Ensure the inspection of material handling equipment for defects and ensure repairs are completed.
  • Support Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager in reviewing Loader, Forklift, and Grinder inspection sheets, evaluating for errors, and resolving operator communications and complaints.
  • Maintain accuracy of component trailer status.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the assigned warehouse.
  • Support Plant Supervisor in hands-on preventive maintenance.
  • Perform light maintenance when required.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
