About The Position

The Maintenance Parts Clerk is responsible for ordering parts, managing the parts ordering log, purchasing items using Somax, and issuing purchase orders. This role involves ensuring items are priced correctly before ordering or quoting, using quotes for competitive pricing, and maintaining a spreadsheet to track pricing checks. The clerk will also handle receiving tickets, verifying received items in Somax, and maintaining copies of Oxidizer and freezer charts. The position requires the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, often in hot environments, and to lift up to 50 lbs. Other duties may be assigned.
