About The Position

Provide administrative assistance to the Maintenance department. This role involves managing parts inventory, processing requisitions, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous work experience as a Parts Attendant or Receiver
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Good understanding of Ventura EAM software including, but not limited to JDE, AS400
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Organizational and Computer skills are a requirement
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
• Must have good reasoning abilities in making work-related decisions
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Requires good hand/eye coordination
• Must have excellent math skills (decimals, fractions and percentages)

Responsibilities

• Perform new equipment additions to JDE
• Add requested parts into MRO
• Maintain tracking tool and report
• Organize Maintenance Documentation and Maintenance Library
• Perform Critical Parts Audits for Lines and Equipment and adds to MRO as needed
• Evaluate inventory levels, and originates purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders to vendors for parts and services as required
• Perform Work Order Time Entry as needed
• Serve as a Fire Watch as needed during Hot Work
• Assist Maintenance Planner with Cycle Counts
• Perform Parts Organization of MRO parts
• Purge out old Parts, create and modify Bin locations as needed
• Receive daily shipments of MRO and parts ordered into JDE / EAM system
• Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.
